Are we looking at the problem or in alignement with the so(u)lution?!
The Abraham-Hicks quote below succinctly sums up the radical new approach in development work YOUth Shift Africa under the guiding lights of Naraya Urban-Winterfeldt and Moses Aran Oindo is pioneering in Kenya and beyond!

“When you are feeling the discomfort from seeing other people in a lackful or needy situation, and you decide to help them from your place of discomfort, no lasting value ever occurs, for two important reasons: first, you are not in alignment with the Energy of your Source, and so you have no real value to give; and second, your attention to their need only amplifies their need.

Thank you for posting this quote. A parallel would state “don’t fightfor peace, live peace” is appropriate.
Love,
Richard
So true, Richard! For as long as we fight for peace, agains HIV/AIDS,cancer or whatever the matter may be, we keep those circumstances in motion. What we resist persists! And whatever we fight will continue to fight back and keep us locked in battle. Only the joyous, fully source aligned focus on positive outcomes bring about sustainAble soUlutions. Like Einstein said, “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.”
Evolutionary yours,
Naraya
I just had a great conversation with a friend the other day and they shared this quote from Eric Sevareid, “The major cause of problems is solutions”.
This is what was shared…
“Solutions to problems are like the fruit that emerges from the tree of a problem. Just like an acorn (solution) is the fruit of an oak tree (problem)… it can only grow and become another oak tree (problem).”
He shared that our egos cannot truly come up with something “new”… Hence we cannot “figure out” a solution from the perspective of believing that “there is a problem!” This was another way to describe Einstein’s words mentioned above.
I have also heard that mathematicians like to entertain themselves by creating “knots” and that the only way to “solve” a mathematical knot is to move to the next level beyond the level in which it was created. For some reason, that always stuck with me.
As a facilitator / life coach and formerly a counselor, I know that I have had a propensity to come up with quick solutions to apparent problems. As I slow down more in my listening and listen from a deeper level… it is so much easier listen beyond the presenting layer and hear what is calling out to be expressed. I am reminded of a quote that says, “When you are not facing the light, all you see are shadows.” When we turn around and face into what is bright and vibrant in our worlds, there is a big “YES!” and from this perspective there appears to be much fewer so-called problems!
