New Community Events Calendar
1. Events page redesign includes community events calendar along with The Shift Network Sponsored events
- Located on http://shiftmovement.com/events
- Find local and virtual events
- Create local and virtual event listings
- Search by term, location, category
- Interactive Map and calendar listing options
- RSVP option
- Invite friends within Shift Movement to your group
- Allow members to get directions to your local event
- Public or private events - private events only show to those who are invited
2. My Events
- Find all of your own events in one place under Profile
- List of all events you have created
- List of all events you are attending
3. Group Events
- Having an events calendar within a group is now an option
- Create event for your group automatically from events calendar within group
- Group Admin gets to decide if they want group event functionality
- Group Admin gets to decide who is allowed to create events for the group – admin only, members only
- Sort by category within group
- Interactive Map to find group events in your area
- Reach a larger audience – Events in public group will automatically be shared with larger community in Main Community Events Calendar to encourage more people to attend your event
- Keep your events private! – Private and Hidden group events only visible to members of Private or hidden group
