There are two wills available for us: self will and God’s will. Our choice is: figure it out ourselves, or have the Creator involved in our lives. If we are honest with ourselves and look at past experiences, what are our lives like when we try to figure it out ourselves? Is there fear, confusion, frustration, anger, attacking others, conflict, fault finding, manipulation, teasing others, belittling others or devaluation? If these things are present, they indicate that we are choosing self will. What is it like if we turn our will over to the Creator? What are the results if we ask the Great Spirit to guide our life? Examples are: freedom, choices, consequences, love, forgiveness, helping others, happiness, joy, solutions, and peace. Which will I choose today, self will or God’s will?

There is a tendency among devoutly religious folk to blame unfavorable outcomes on themselves and credit favorable outcomes to God. This confirmation bias is of no help in the real world. While spiritual forces can, and sometimes do, shape events for us, it is incumbant on us to make our own choices and take responsibility and credit for these. The Universe responds favorably to forward motion – not belief or ideology.
Being opinionated is one thing, but being rude and opinionated is completely un-necessary. Use your negative energy towards fixing your faults, and u may just get the prize ;-p
if I added my will to god’s will and willed myself with all my might I could have never come up with a better response Michael. I have a difficult time with people who make absolute statements of fact about spirituality when my direct communication with the spiritual forces of the universe tell me that the entity humans call “god” wouldn’t want us to “give up our will” and subordinate it to “god’s”. It is my belief this is the type of attitude which were I to be engaged in a shift, I would be shifting away from. I always find it interesting when visitors to this site get so angry if anyone dares to challenge their absolute statements. No discussion allowed here unless it’s to let everyone know how wonderful they are.

How shocked and disappointed I felt to this reply and how unesesary to you this language it always surprises me that when some one posts in love they get this kind of reaction who knows maybe its pressed a button that will allow a shift after all that’s what this site is about creating a shift for the good of the world and all that’s in it and part of that shift is acceptance and that we all view the world with different eyes culture and understanding (:
