Thanks for sharing these daily, Sharon. I enjoy them, if not posting so! This quote here brings up something that has been coming up recently within my circle of family: asking. For some reason, many of us seem to forget that we can ask, should ask and need to ask. Somehow, it seems we don’t feel we are even worthy enough to just ask. I appreciate this reminder today!

Hi Denise!! So good to hear from you…I hope you have been well. If you break it down to the most simple form….in my humble opinion….:) The feeling of worthiness as to asking is an old antiquated notion we have all been taught in one way or another since birth. We are taught that asking is selfish…..we are taught thaT asking from a religous perspective has boundries…its everywhere.

However…..its ok to ask / pray for many many things. As we develope and recognize our place in the Universe…we overcome the EGO…and we overcome many things we were taught that simply either do not apply or no longer serve us. If we dont ask…then in essence we are cutting off the ample supply the Universe can provide. If we do not ask..we cannot expect. If we do not ask….where would the adventure be?? But asking..is twofold…first we ask….then we must trust and that too can be difficult for some. Trusting that we will get what we’ve asked for is definitely a question of whether we feel worthy….if our feelings are the barometer as to how we are doing…then feeling unworthy is definitely a sign we need to work in some area to raise our vibration.

If we are indeed “everything”…..then “everything” is already a part of who we are. So the asking is nothing more than seeking direction to feelings that feel better…and when we feel better…we are better for “everything” . If you are lost do you not ask for directions? Then in its most simple form……we are simply seeking direction … and if you think about it…worthiness has no place unless we give it one.

Back at ya Sharon! Great to communicate and exchange with you as well I agree with all that you say here. We are all ‘worthy’ because we are all Divine. Asking God, Creator, the Universe, Angels, Archangels – whatever word we choose to use is our prayer, and listening for the answer is meditation. Trust is the ribbon that ties them together. Light Beings are just waiting for us to Ask them into our lives, to help, to guide, to soothe and instill Joy. 

Let’s remove our hands from over our mouths and open wide to ask, sing, and exhale deeply!
