Who says ringing in the Shift of the ages is all serious business? It’s no secret among saints and sages that playfulness and humor can be powerful tools for moving consciousness.

This is a space dedicated to nurturing that part of you that loves to laugh, and celebrating all that inspires you to make room for play in your world. Here we gather to appreciate the social artistry of comedy in it many guises, whether used to challenge conventional wisdom, to unify, to enlighten, enchant, inspire or awaken insight. It is also a forum for actively exploring the function and significance of humor and play (in art, popular culture, relationship, spiritual practice, creative ventures, or any aspect of our lives).

Join here to: share gems of conscious humor you’ve come across; discuss your experience of humor & play as aspects of self-discovery, spirituality, or healing; converse about cultural trends in humor; showcase your own comic creations; any and all of the above. When posting videos please use the URL.

NOTE: You need not count being “funny” or “humorous” among your special talents to join. All laughter lovers and light-hearted lightworkers welcome! If you’re interested in the capacity of humor to transform perspectives and lives, the healing power of play, or the practice of light-heartedness for personal/social transformation, we invite you to share your thoughts and experiences.

Levity and a spirit of playfulness as well as constructive comments and heartfelt inquiry are encouraged. While it goes without saying here at Shift Movement, let’s take care to keep comments supportive and avoid certain modes of joking or ribbing that might belittle the views of others posting or come at another’s expense.
