I grew up most of my life in the desert. Your paintings make me feel it all again, see it all again. Those colors truly exist out there, the pinks, purples and blues against mountains; the scarlet, orange, yellows and pinks in the sunset and sunrise. Ahhh… Thank you for posting your work. It takes me away!

I truly appreciate your lovely, inspiring feedback, Denise, and especially the fact that you get the strange “realism” of these seemingly surrealistic paintings.

I recognize your ‘Soft Pueblo’ as the beautiful adobe home structures, old and new,that blend so wonderfully in the desert. ‘Soft Pueblo’ also specifically sparks my memory of visiting the breathtaking Anasazi mountainside, carved out dwellings in Mesa Verde, CO. Timelessness in form, beauty and utility.

Sol, I just wanted to say that I find such tremendous power in your paintings. For me, when I looked at Canyon Tree and Moonscape in particular, I could feel that power working in my heart chakra…an opening in recognition of the energy you’ve conveyed.  I have never been to the USA but I know the inner places that your paintings speak of.  Thank you.
