Bill George

Bill George is professor of management practice at Harvard Business School and former chairman and chief executive officer of Medtronic. He is the author of: True North, Authentic Leadership, 7 Lessons for Leading in Crisis, and Finding Your True North.

Mr. George currently serves as a board member of ExxonMobil and Goldman Sachs and recently served on the board of Novartis and Target. He has been recognized as “Executive of the Year” by the Academy of Management, “Director of the Year” by the National Association of Corporate Directors and one of Public Broadcasting’s “Top 25 Business Leaders of the Past 25 Years.”
