John Weeks
John Weeks has developed something of a unique niche role in the emerging integrative healthcare practices arena over the last 27year, including elements of reporting, organizing, commenting, consulting, cajoling, speaking, networking and serving in executive and board capacities. Weeks is publisher-editor of the Integrator Blog News & Reports (http://www.theintegratorblog.com) the leading media source on the policy, business and education in the integrative practice arena. Weeks’ work has been widely cited in diverse media such as the New York Times, Physician Executive, Medical Economics and Boston Globe. Weeks has had a lead role in organizing and directing a variety of coalitions and collaborations including the Integrative Medicine Industry Leadership Summits (2000-2002), Integrated Healthcare Policy Consortium (http://www.ihpc.info), National Education Dialogue to Advance Integrated Health Care (2004-2006), and the Academic Consortium for Complementary and Alternative Health Care (ACCAHC-www.accahc.org) for which he serves as executive director. He recently helped co-found the Naturopathic Physicians Research Institute (http://www.nprinstitute.org) to help foster a research agenda that better capture whole practice outcomes. Weeks attended Stanford University for 3 years, studying history.
