Kali Ma
Lama Kali Ma is a teacher in the rare lineage of Buddhist Yogis from India and Tibet. Her teachings get straight to the heart of Tantric Buddhism and Ayurvedic Medicine for finding sanity and wisdom within every experience of life. Also known as “Tröma Rinpoche”, she is Buddhist teacher, humanitarian and author who founded of the School of Yogic Buddhism and the Yogic Medicine Institute.
Rinpoche’s teaching emphasizes the union of physical and spiritual transformation and the importance of relationship, work, family and formal spiritual practice for discovering the essence of Buddhist wisdom. Through the School of Yogic Buddhism and the Yogic Medicine Institute, she shares the wisdom of the Yogic Sciences and the many avenues of transformation that are available within them. She shares advanced teachings in a direct and essential way, making them accessible to people in all walks of life.
Rinpoche gives regular free public teachings in Northern California and also appears in Southern California, Nepal and India. She is the director of two residential practice centers, five communities, teacher of Ayurveda, author of two books; Doorways to Enlightenment, Peacock in the Garden of Poisons; and over 20 audio-teachings.
