Sylvie Maunga
Sylvie Maunga is a recipient of the 2008 Joan Kroc Institute Women Peacemaker Award and the 2010 Women’s Refugee Commission Award for the Voice of Courage. Sylvie is an experienced human rights lawyer specializing in International Public Law, Humanitarian Law; Gender based violence, Conflict resolution and Human Rights advocacy. She has managed and partnered with a number of International non-profit organizations including the Interchurch Council for Development Cooperation (ICCO), the Life and Peace Institute, the Enough projects, Vital Voices, Congo Global Action and several local non-profit organizations in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Great Lakes.
