Hmm…interesting question. I would be a cross hybrid between a feline like lynx or black panther and a deer, through in a little dolphin too that mix. There you would have it…me to the tee
Miranda
inanimal
Impossible to answer. I am not human, although human is a part of what I am. I am not wolf, although wolf is a part of what I am. I am not mantis, although mantis is a part of what I am… I am not the earth, although the earth and I are One.
Love,
Mike.
u did the impossible
what else is possible ?
u r prayer
Nothing is impossible in the imagination realm.
A koala bear, don’t seem to do a lot of harm, sitting, relaxing in a tree, chewing some leavs, or dancing in the sea as a dolphin, or flying in the air.
This wouldn’t be on planet earth of course, this would be on a planet where the trees wouldn’t get cut down, where the sea would be just water and where the air would be fresh.
‘flying in the air as a bird or butterfly’ was supposed to have been written above.
To expand on my previous post… I said feline like lynx or panther because I love solitude and alone time, I am a good hunter, (researcher is a form of hunting too) and observer, graceful, also am somewhat nocturnal and very psychic. To “move” like an animal to me goes beyond just physical bodily movement onto the mental, emotional or spiritual attributes. I say deer as I am light on my feet, gentle, vulnerable, and sure footed. Lastly like dolphin because I am playful, psychic, community oriented and healer and water is a second home to me.
Patrick, like your descriptions of koala bear…do you move like one?
Miranda, at some moments yes and as you just said it goes beyond physically movements onto mental, emotional and spiritual movement.
The koala bear I believe is in stillness at some moments, a still “movement” which I share.
Stillness, that means Koala is wise! Also KB is also friendly, exotic, scarce, and very gently but strong. You want to hug and snuggle with him/her (I do anyway!).
“Still movement,” I really like that.
For the record Patrik, when I asked you if you “move” like Koala, I was referring to movement as described above, in all its facets.
Beautiful….
Yes, I believe the koala is wise, moves calmly and strong but very gentle.
I would like to be a Cat, a Hawk, a Wolf and anything else that exemplifies independence, freedom and being. “The grass is always greener on the other side” but we can be all those things by juct being a true spiritual entity. Check out my site, http://www.tip-of-the-iceberg.net and my book,www.thoughtsofarobin.com and learn how to be that being.
Many, Many blessings to all of the World and anybody else out there in the Universe. eavesdropping on my post.
Robin
got caught in the gutter… surprised my eavesdrop still worked !
You described what you would most like to be Robin, but that wasn’t really the question if I may point out
What animal you like to be and what you are moving most like, may not be the same thing or should I say.. animal, as the case may be…hmmm?
I like you web site and its title. I was an early Seth reader too. It was I think my first “metaphysical” book I read.
I read: Miranda’s rights
Hi again Miranda,
I am happy, I move about in a friendly way, and I am always happy to meet new friends. In my next life, I want to be a Poodle in a kind and loving family.
If you liked the Seth book, have you read any of Carlos Casteneda’s books? the first four books are good especially “Tales of Power” but another book, “The art of Dreaming” is my favorite.
Many blessings,
Robin
I have read the Castaneda books a loong time ago. only number 2, 3, and part of 4 I think. They are timeless. I am intrigued by your desire to be a poodle in your next life. They always have to get hair cuts you know (Ha).
Meow, splash and silence,
I love dogs. Put your spouse and your dog in the trunk of your car, and leave them it there for 1 hour. Open the trunk, and see who’s happy to see you? I love all animals they’re just little people in cheap fur coats. I was joking about the poodle. That would be the best way, if you like being coddled and pampered? It’s like one of my statements in my book, “Dependence is Prostition.” I love cats too. To me, they are the epitomy of independence. Which we all are seeking.
and I say robin moves like a mouse
I guess, thinking of my light identification with my astrological signs, I would choose to be a lion in the west and a dragon in the east. I spent a lot of time imaging those two creatures in my younger days and searching for my similar traits. Perhaps in a way they are my goal rather than what I feel I have attained now. (^;~)
Hi Derek, are you still teaching in (forgot which country…Tibet, Nepal, Japan, Thailand??)?
I like “light identification” descriptor of astrological stamps. So what similar traits do you share with dragon and lion?
Hello Miranda,
Yes, I’m still teaching in S.Korea. I’ve been here for over ten years now and I guess I’ll still be here for quite a while. ^^ As for the identification – I guess I’d love to say that as with every form of identification, mine has both a light and a shadow side. I guess on the light side (at least to me ^^) I’m a bit of a showman and have some charisma/leadership skills. I’m also independent and sensual, and protective of those in my circle. On the shadow side, I tend to be a bit proud to arrogant, stubborn, needy of attention, and sometimes a little self-centered.
The good news is that with my shifting, I’m realizing that identification with any limiting idea does not express the true Self, nor does it promote alignment. Sooooo…..I’m moving toward less and less identification. The ego, with it’s good and bad qualities sometimes does jump into the control seat, but it returns to its proper place more and more often these days.
Oh S. Korea, that’s right! Its another subject I know but wondering how is it over there with all the interesting commotion going on in N.K?
Getting back on track, to me that (in your previous post)is the whole point of awakening – that shift- getting to that point where we KNOW our selves to be larger than the ego and all its identifications, so I wish to congratulate you. When one person raises there vibration enough to this point, he/she also automatically raises it for many others of human population too.
When I am there I feel free and energized.
Its so wonderful to hear, especially coming from a male one of us, humility like this, acknowledging the shadow as well as the light side of our aspects at present time. It give me hope, so thank you again.
For me awakening is precisely that- forming the correct alignment of human aspects, and then living from that and maintaining it…the conscious ego self to the higher Self or Spirit
so that the later is in driver seat and the former is its servant or helper in the material
world, with the heart center open and everything passing and blending through that first before taking any action. I can envision a world like this where every person is integrous with this alignment most of the time and everything is built from that place.
We share wildcat energy though yours is a little bigger than mine! I invite you to look not from what you have identified your self with from childhood or the zodiac, but just see what is there apart from any former or outer identifications..is there another animal you resonate with?
Meow, or rather rooarrr…
Dear Miranda,
Well, I don’t know what to say. I know that in the U.S. lots of people (and the media) were freaking out about the posturing of N.Korea. For us here in Busan, S.Korea, it’s business as usual. No one really talks about it, we are just plugging along with our usual daily tasks. Personally, I was a little unnerved for a moment but then I woke up pretty quickly.
I love the way you describe the alignment of human aspects. Your description is very concise and in just a few words relates what some people spend entire books writing about and some people never even get close to the realization of.
The shadow was one of the first things I learned to acknowledge, along with my anima aspect. It wasn’t until I started studying Jung that I found the language to describe it. There are some areas in which I find Jung to be a typical European male – but aside from a few comments here and there – Jung is one of my heroes.
As far as other animals, when I think of resonating with animals, I think of attraction (on the energetic level) and it is almost impossible to say that I feel drawn to one over another. I have even found resonance with the insect world, trees and plants, rocks and minerals….etc. Whatever is present. Dogs and cats are ever present in my life. Roses also draw me, but that may be from my Catholic upbringing. Bees, spiders, butterflies and moths are also drawn to me and I to them. And I love rocks and water. I love the smell, feel and diversity of form. I’m not neglecting fire or air either. I think I can find resonance with everything once the ego has sat back down in its seat. ^&^
Hmm, lots of beautiful creatures came to mind but as I really felt into the question … I think today I may be a female orangutan, moving slowly, gently and calmly.
Jan, wow an orangutan, lots of animals move slowly calmly and gently. I am curious why you chose orangutan of these? I like your adress of the animal for the moment you resonate with however if I may suggest that there are those animals we resonate with all the time or most of our lives, if not all of it. Those that are like a part of our being, as I understand it anyways in my years of studying animals and soul connection
I am and will always be a cat; a tabby usually with short hair and green eyes, and I will be as independent and as playful and, sometimes, as inscrutable as I can be, because it is what I am.
I would say a bird, flying through the sky, representing freedom, light energy and no thought form. Existing just for the sake of living in harmony in nature. It instinctively senses danger and knows what to do. It instinctively knows where to find food. A bird sees a panoramic view from above. How I love to see a flock of birds soaring in the sky.
The other animal that comes to me is a cat. Not sure why. Maybe because it quietly observes its environment. Or maybe it likes time to be by itself and play by itself. Then when it is ready, it likes to play with others. Dear God, am I talking about myself?-:)
Lindsay Lioness…. that’s me: http://www.facebook.com/LindsayLionessNow
On this continent: grizzly bear…. top of the food chain… loves salmon, berries, honey, with the keenest sense of smell…. I imagine the sex is pretty intense between a female and a male grizzly. Must be absolutely wild and uninhibited… just sayin’!!! I like the idea of hibernation, with baby cubs too…..
